“Before I came across Dopo, I felt that I did not have any skills to support my community through their abortion journeys. Throughout the course it became clear to me that I did possess these skills and that really changed my confidence. Not to mention, I found that learning with a community of people from diverse backgrounds made me think more about the nuances and complexities in feelings, thoughts, and experiences that I will encounter in this work. I’ll forever be grateful to Zachi and Carly for the space they created — especially having done so virtually!”
