“The Dopo abortion companion training provided an excellent foundation in abortion support; and while Zachi and Carly brought their own wealth of knowledge and experiences into the space, they were also intentional about inviting complementary expertise from other community members both within the Dopo network and beyond. Learning about the different ways that abortion care can exist in our communities was one of my favorite aspects of the training and helped me imagine how I might step into this work. I hold a deep appreciation for Dopo's grounding in reproductive justice and in centring the person receiving support in their abortion journey. I felt the training was abundant in thoughtful facilitation, curated resources, and loving care of its participants. Dopo exceeded my expectations and I have been enthusiastically recommending the abortion companion training to folks in my network!”
